In September 2011, Dr. José María Gil-Vernet gave a talk entitled "Relevance of the Anatomy in Urology: Reality and fantasy of male Perineal Anatomy" at the 25th Congress of the Spanish Society of Anatomy held at Universidad Complutense in Madrid. To illustrate the talk, Dr. Gil-Vernet showed many histotopographic sections and urology drawings from the Salvador Gil Vernet Collection.
