Dr JM Gil-Vernet has just published (on 14/07/2016), in the European Journal of Anatomy, a long piece on the scientific work of the Spanish anatomist and urologist Salvador Gil Vernet (1892-1987).
The article describes the most important discoveries in the field of topographic anatomy of the male and prostate pelvis and perineum performed by author during the last century. Over 60 years have passed since he published his works, which are still cited today in medical literature, which shows the full force of his scientific research.
